Postal codes in Andorra were introduced in July 2004. Since Andorra’s postal service is run by both the Spanish Postal Service (Correos) and the French Postal Service (La Poste), the postal codes were introduced in cooperation with the postal services of both countries. Each of Andorra’s seven municipalities has its own postal code (“Codi Postal” in Catalan). In Andorra La Vella, every 50th PO Box has its own postal code – for example, PO Boxes 1001 to 1050 have the postal code AD551, PO Boxes 1051 to 1100 have the postal code AD552, and so on.
