About DPD
DPD is part of Geopost, a major international parcel-delivery network operating through DPD and partner brands in many countries. Tracking is normally handled by the local DPD website for the country where the shipment was booked or delivered.
PostIndex is an independent tracking guide. It does not transport parcels and is not affiliated with DPD. The button above opens the official carrier service, where the latest operational tracking data is displayed.
How to track a DPD package
Check the dispatch email, online order, label or postal receipt.
Copy every letter and digit without adding spaces unless shown on the label.
Open official tracking and review the newest scan, location and delivery step.
DPD tracking-number formats
Formats can vary by product and country. The examples below help identify the number but are not a complete validation rule.
| Service or type | Typical format |
|---|---|
| Parcel number | 14 digits in many DPD markets |
| Reference number | Carrier or sender reference |
| Example | 12345678901234 |
Common DPD tracking statuses
The label exists, but the first physical scan may still be pending.
The carrier has received or scanned the item.
The shipment is moving between facilities or postal networks.
An international item is being reviewed for import or export.
The parcel is with the local delivery route.
The carrier recorded delivery, collection or another completed handover.
Why is DPD tracking not updating?
DPD tracking can remain unchanged between depot scans, during a cross-border line-haul movement or while a parcel is waiting for customs. A newly issued number may also appear only after the first physical scan.
How long does DPD delivery take?
Transit time varies by the local DPD company, service level and destination. Domestic European parcels often move faster than cross-border economy shipments; the official result is the best source for the current delivery window.
International DPD tracking
Cross-border mail may show fewer scans while it is transported between countries. After arrival, customs or a local postal partner can create the next update. When a partner is named, checking the same tracking number on that operator’s official website can provide additional final-mile information.
DPD tracking FAQ
Where can I find my DPD tracking number?
Look on the shipping confirmation, online order page, receipt, parcel label or message from the sender.
Can I track without a tracking number?
Usually not through public tracking. Contact the sender, retailer or carrier support and provide the order or shipment details they request.
What if tracking says delivered but nothing arrived?
Check the safe place, mailbox, reception and neighbours, then review delivery details. If the item remains missing, contact the sender or official carrier support promptly.
